William Campbell Foundation

William Campbell Foundation (WCF) is a not-for-profit organisation supporting children and young people in foster care and living with disability in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. We are committed to supporting and creating positive opportunities that empower children, young people and their families. WCF began in 1998, when William (Bill) Campbell, being a child in care himself, started the foundation to support children in his community. Part of his vision was to build a 'special assistance school' and in 2023 William Campbell College (WCC) officially opened to provide individualised education for children needing a different approach to education. WCF and WCC together form an integral part of our communities’ response to providing ongoing care for children and young people in out of home care and requiring a unique and individualised approach to education.
