Billie Green

Billie Green is a Kiama Downs based online sustainable intimates and activewear brand created to make better choices easy for families and schools. Designed for tweens and teens aged 7 – 16+ YRS, our collections are made from natural, toxin-free fabrics such as Lenzing™ TENCEL™ and organic cotton, certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 and completely free from polyester and nylon.

Founded by Kiama-based mum and social entrepreneur Caroline Hartline, Billie Green was born from a frustration with the dominance of synthetics in children’s clothing — fibres that can irritate skin, trap heat, and pollute the planet. There is increasing scientific research showing that the chemical compounds in polyester such as BPA and phlalates disrupt hormones, which has significant health impacts, particularly on young people. Our pieces are soft, breathable, and hypoallergenic.

In addition to our apparel range, Billie Green provides uniform consultancy services, helping schools and sporting group cut out the middleman supplier and improve the quality of their uniforms and merchandise. We source premium, natural fabrics and design custom styles directly with ethical, audited manufacturers, resulting in higher-quality pieces at lower prices.
