Zonta Club of Kiama-Shellharbour

The Zonta Club of Kiama–Shellharbour is part of Zonta International, a global organisation working to build a better world for women and girls through advocacy, service, education and empowerment.

Locally, our club is passionate about creating positive change within the community by supporting projects that improve the lives of women and children.

Our members are involved in a range of service initiatives including sewing and donating breast care cushions for patients recovering from breast surgery, assembling birthing kits for women in developing countries, and advocating to end gender-based violence through campaigns such as the 16 Days of Activism.  We also proudly support and celebrate women through events including International Women’s Day and community awareness programs.

Zonta stands for equality, respect, safety, education and opportunity for all women and girls. Through friendship, collaboration and service, we aim to make a meaningful and lasting impact both locally and globally.
